Thanks a lot for your comment Sue. Yes I do reject the social construct model.
While of course there are social fashions and trends there are only two sexes and gender is how their qualities are perceived.
The *transsexual* person seeks or wishes to have the sexual characteristics of the opposite sex to that in which they were ostensibly born, due to anomalous neurology.
As I always say, while there are only two sexes and two genders, there are grey areas and anomalies and even the grey areas and anomalies have grey areas and anomalies. They are not new sexes or genders, they are anomalies.
Thanks Claire Rae. I have done a lot of research and writing on the transgender campaign and what I am missing in my arguments is your perspective. It is an essential component to a rational solution that both protects minors and young adults from social contagion and a lifetime enriching big pharma and the adult who experiences the anomalies you describe.
I would be very happy to engage in further conversation, thanks for asking. My book has been out two years next week and I have found it extremely difficult to get people to even discuss my views because the debate is so polarised. The Gencrits won't talk because they think I'm promoting children's treatment and queer theory (I'm not, I was very critical of the Tavistock and the WPATH in my book before the scandals about them came out) and the trans activists and gender queer people won't talk to me because they think I'm transphobic.
That is quite clear and makes sense.
So you reject current gender ideology - ie sex and gender are social constructs?
It is this theory being pushed in schools and social media that is driving so many young people to the gender clinic and into the arms of Big Pharma.

Would you be open to a further conversation?

I look forward to our conversation.
